Everett McNear (1904 -1984), consultant designer for The Art Institute of Chicago and the Snite Museum, University of Notre Dame. He has had solo exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Fine Arts, Walker Art Center, Crocker Art Gallery and the Art Institute of Chicago. His work is in the collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois State Museum and Snite Museum. He has served corporations including: Credit Union National Assn., R.R. Donnelly, Employers Insurance of Wausau, International Harvester, Illinois Power, Kimberly-Clark, Milwaukee Road, Northern Trust Bank, Standard Oil-Indiana, Readers Digest and Sears Bank and Trust Company. 27 Chicago Designer member: 1945-1979, Honorary Member 1982. STA Honorary Member.
